Location: South Jordan, UT & Orem, UT
Hours: Full-time (35-40 hours/week). Must be able to work a combination of daytime, evening, and weekend hours throughout the apprenticeship period. Upon completion of the apprenticeship, hours will include rotating weekend and weekday 8-hour shifts. Availability for weekends and holidays is required.
Pay: $16/hour + tips during the apprenticeship, with potential for a competitive rate of $20-$25/hour upon successful completion and possible at-will employment. The apprenticeship lasts approximately 12 weeks, subject to the owner's discretion.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced piercers in performing piercings while following hygiene and safety protocols.
- Learn and apply piercing techniques, including anatomy, jewelry selection, and aftercare guidance.
- Participate in client consultations, ensuring clear communication and answering questions about the process and aftercare.
- Leverage your sales skills to upsell high-quality jewelry and aftercare products, enhancing client satisfaction and contributing to the overall success of Groovy Peach.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to all sanitation practices.
- Attend training sessions to continuously enhance your skills and customer service.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure an exceptional customer experience that reflects our core values.
- Assist with inventory management, restocking, and keeping the shop organized.
- Follow studio policies regarding punctuality, appearance, and behavior.
- Be proactive in supporting the growing needs of the business; we're looking for individuals who can take initiative, demonstrate leadership potential, and grow with us as we expand.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in the medical field though other relevant medical and aesthetic backgrounds will be considered.
- Passion for fashion, piercings, and aesthetics, with an eye for detail.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a structured apprenticeship program.
- Bloodborne pathogen, first aid, and CPR certifications (these may be completed during the apprenticeship).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-first mindset.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and take direction from mentors.
- Commitment to maintaining safety and hygiene standards.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, professionalism, and alignment with our core values.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and kneel.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends.
